well its stupid. He needs two not three frames. Selby however, needs four not five. If my maths is correct, Dott has improved his chances of winning by a third, whereas Selby has improved his chances by a quarter.

So if it is about rain and snow, then it must be about geography. Dott is more used to playing in snowy conditions and so should win.

I dont agree, after he wins this frame is, because if Dott wins any of the next two frames after that, he swings to favourite again.

4-2 is obviously a better scoreline for Dott than 3-1. I can only imagine it's weight of backers being spurred by Selbys reaction and the psychological impact of the 6th frame.

people think Dott is an excellent safety player, but he's good. In fact, all parts of his game are good, that's why he is tough to beat.
