So obvious that the final was rigged.

Once ronnie established a strong lead, alot of money was bet on Selby and ronnie threw the match.

So obvious IMO.

Stay away from snooker betting in future, too dodgy.

If it was so obvious, how much did you bet on Selby when Ronnie established a strong lead?

And pity that you didn't share it with the forum.

Yeah cus if I wanted to make a load of money on a betting scam I would do it in the final of the 2nd biggest snooker tournament and not on an insignificant frame is a 2nd round match.

Call the police and report it then.

I like the way they planned Selby to get that amazing century against all the odds. The pundits said afterwards that Ronnie didn't get a look in in the last three frames or were they in on it too?

I'm glad to hear Hearn's comments about taking people to court who say its rigged. I'm looking forward to seeing the evidence on both sides.

if you watched the match properly, selby was the better player and he was only waiting for the breakthrough, looked the better player and the better player won in the end

Ronnie leading 9-8 frames, 67 -53

can someone with half brain tell me why he went for that NOT EASY GREEN?

Ronnie lost the final with that ball, not in the last frame.

IN the postmatch interview i saw he said "you have to take your chances when they come" talking about why he went for that green. Was that a real chance to the green?

Did you see the post match interviews? If that match was fixed, Ronnie's the best actor in the history if the world. Gibberish
Report zamorano January 18, 2010 5:53 PM GMT
are u talking to me? i dont think it was f¡xed but im asking if that shot to the green was a good option.

Obviusly it wasnt but im not a snooker expert, so WHY HE WENT FOR THAT SHOT?
Report Alkeyhole January 18, 2010 6:17 PM GMT
He went for it because he was annoyed he'd missed getting good position. Rather than play the percentage shot & put Selby in trouble, he tried to end the game there & then.

What made it such a poor choice of shot was that it wasn't a shot to nothing i.e. he wasn't likely to leave it safe if he missed, he was likely to do exactly what he did do - give the frame away. He could have put Selby in trouble & remained overwhelmingly hot favourite to triumph, but he blew it.
