O'Sullivan and Williams are both my outrights so I have to stick with them, though I totally agree Williams needs to up his game. But that's always an issue when you're playing guys like McLeod, whose level is lower, it tends to bring the opponent down with him. I'd be amazed if Williams played that averagely tomorrow.

carter should be too strong for mjw. dont know how u can back mjw for the tourney - just makes too many mistakes nowadays. wouldn't normally fancy ron at short odds to beat robbo but of course robbo is playing the crowd as well. think he's big enuff now to not get bothered by it - might even inspire him

Hadn't looked at the prices yet. I can't believe the way the Carter match is priced up. Needless to say I'm off to have a bet, could be a big bet too.

Ok,Snookerbacker
Thought Carter on basically what i saw of williams Do you know how Carter is playing? |
By:
He played at Crondon Park last week and to me looked to be cueing well in parts, much better than a few weeks back when his newborn arrived. He's got a habit of getting annoyed with himself but he's not usually one to let himself go at venues until the latter stages. If he loses he is usually unprepared or outplayed by someone at the top of their game. I don't believe that either of those will apply tomorrow.
But, as ever, it's your money, I can only give my slightly informed opinion. You can't account for what happens when they get out there. |

Ok mr greengrass you asked for it , theres not much to tell but here goes .
Born 7 / 6 / 1947 in louis , arizona , USA . My mother was a cherokee squaw and my father was an eskimo ( one hell of a combination ) At the age of 3 i was abducted by a romany travelling circus and for the next 12 years i went all over the world juggling fire balls on the high wire . Just before my 16th birthday i managed to escape and returned to america . In 1964 i enrolled in the army i was accepted for special forces in early 65 . I specialised in light weopons , cross trained as a medic and was helicopter and language qualified . I was trained to live off the land , to eat things that would make a billy goat puke . I was the best with guns , with knives , with my bare hands . 59 confirmed kills ,2 silver stars , 4 bronze , 4 purple hearts , distinguished service cross and the medal of honour . I did 3 tours of nam with 355 batallion at cuttsang . After a short stint in the falklands in 82 and black ops mission in afghanistan at the start af the first gulf war i decided enough was enough and came out of the forces . Upon return i settled in the uk and found there was still a war going on , the kind of war you dont win . The war against the fixed odds brigade and to this day i vow to take em all down . Anyhow as i said not much to tell really just hope my fellow forum warriors will join me on my fight . |

My tip for today at http://redandblackblog.wordpress.com/
|

Thanks Richard.
Interesting. The word should be 'acclimatise' though. My one bet so far was Ding to beat Selby! May have a small double on the two outsiders, Robertson & Williams today. Short form of the game naturally favours the outsider more and I think Ronnie is always underpriced, and Robertson is far from a mug. Williams has the advantage of a game here already and if he gets going early can have this won in two hours. |
By:
Thank you, acclimatise now in place. I knocked that off quickly as I was so excited by the price.
