Slow start against increasingly confident opponent. Miss a few simple balls, opponent goes a couple clear.

Slow game down, commence slow, low scoring tactical affair, disrupt opponents rhythm, confidence, interest.

Mistakes creep into subdued opponent, take controll, start hitting it as sweet as a nut, rattle off 6 consecutive frames hardly missing a ball, surge into next round, bewildered opponent on next train home.

Ebdon's my favourite player. This seems to be his pattern. Am i correct?

problem is when the grinding is done you have to have the onions to start scoring, never used to be a problem for peter, but these days, not so sure

TPD - i think you are right. He used to be able to switch into a higher gear more effortlessly. Is it possible yrs of grinding have had an impact on his concentration?
