Backed Higgins in the outright @ 8.8

Not sure if a lay of the Scotsman is in order, both look in cracking form.

I know Higgins won there last meeting, anybody any stats on their recent matches??

I think Ding has a better chance against Higgins than O'Sullivan, just the pure mental side. But Ding in this form can challenge, almost match Higgins, in most departments. But whoever wins tomorrow will be in uber-confident mode, which is dangerous.

surely higgins represents the value here..cant see ronnie blowing him away (sounds a little wrong i know) like he did against others in the tourney!

By:
Jason Bourne

Costs too much.

When: 12 Dec 09 12:18
its impossible to get 2 identical cues, no 2 cues feel.. play the same.. its a matter of personal choice

I don't profess to being anywhere near professional snooker standard infact since I don't play anymore i'm not even club standard. However, having had plenty of new tips and a couple of new cues down the years I really don't believe having a new tip makes that much difference. As long as you can put in an hours practice with the tip and it's shaped how you like it then I don't think there's a problem. A lot of it is in the head and fortunately John Higgins is mentally strong.

Mark Williams at his peak imo could play with anything. He often ran out of position anyway, but just potted the balls as if he were in perfect position.
