For god sake dont cut away to an oblique angle during the shot...its distracting. Lets see the shot from start to finish with the full table shot and maybe replay from fancy angles...

Ifeel the director/producer wants to be seen to be doing something, also there is this daft idea in the media that the 'mtv generation' has such a short attention span they will flick over if the shot doesnt change - patronising nonsense.

The joy of snooker is that it is aesthetic - it is easy on the eye - why spoil that with frantic cutaways that dont add any value and make the coverage ugly?

i agree, especially when postion on the next ball is vital, the close ups don't let you see how the position is looking after the pot
