While I appreciate that VAR has complicated management of in running betting, eg that BF need to be sure that a goal has been awarded. It doesn't justify why they take so long to unsuspend once VAR checks have been completed and play has been restarted, eg with a kick off.

It's not been uncommon that the market remains suspended for a minute or two on a regular basis and often up to FIVE minutes. This makes hedging, greening impossible and of course there is the risk of another goal and all well thought out plans rendered useless.

Why should in running betting have returned to the Dark Ages and why should anyone be expected to bet on in running markets that are seriously flawed in this manner?
