hi there,
i change password regularly, also have 2 step authentication as after having my account hacked years ago and losing money im very wary of it happening again.
On checking my security settings on "my account" twice in the last two weeks another i.p address has tried to log in to my account,1 from Korea and 1 from Vietnam, failed both times.
im not too worried due to 2 step authentication but this means my username is out there even tho its totally random and not used on anything else, my question is how can this be,how is it possible for my unique username to become knowledge on the web?
any opinions appreciated,thanks.

Public wi-fi?

Especially if you ever log directly into the Forum (site not https) rather than loggin into BF (site is https) and letting the Forum use your BF.com session token

Change your password weekly just to be safe!   Or maybe ask betfair to change your username or open you a different account, not sure if they can do this.

just for info - for the first time ever on my security log an irregular attempt to access my account was made recently also from Korea.
