Playing catch-up this morning after a powercut.

Fully expect the Highlanders to win first up, but the Stormers did some decent stuff against the Crusaders last week.  Hopefully they can get a decent start and add some meat to the currently skinny Highlanders price.

On the bare form, you can make quite a strong case for the Rebels being quite a decent price for their encounter against the Brumbies next.  Considering it's only Week 4 (and the Rebels had a bye in Week 1), there's a lot of collateral form on offer, all of it favouring the Rebels (albeit their result against the Reds is skewed massively by the early-doors sending off of Scott Higginbotham.

BUT, if the Rebels are to emerge victorious, it will (incredibly) be the first time they've EVER won three games on the spin.  And they're without their skipper, Adam Coleman, for this encounter.

In essence, I'm not sure the Rebels are the gift they initially appear to be.

That said, the Brumbies were pretty dreadful against the Reds last week, but they're the side with the most scope to improve.  I'm half-tempted to take a punt on them.  Only half-tempted, mind.

Fair to say the Rebels really grew into the game after being completely dominated everywhere bar the scoreboard for the first 20.

Impressive again from the Rebels, even though it took a yellow card for them to really take control.

Brumbies look poor.

Really looking forward to this morning's opener.

I didn't see the Hurricanes' match against the Jaguares last week, but from the report it sounded like they were a bit better than they had been the previous week when they were unlucky to lose to a rampant Blue Bulls side.

Crusaders are, to my mind, on a slightly different plane to the rest of the sides in Super Rugby, and without having to travel anything like the distance the 'Canes have this week, I am surprised to see them so much bigger than Evens than they are.  At worst, I reckon it's a coin flip, so my opening position is a back of the 'Saders.

First bet of the season on SR for me. Crusaders to win 2.36. Probably not more than a score in either way but think
Crusaders are maybe mentally tougher and not having all that travel has to help, i hope!!!

I too am looking forward to this game.I couldn't decide which way to go so decided on the over 52.5pts once I saw the weather was ok.
Will probably trade the match odds in running.

replay suggests might not have been a try, did they even have another look?
