After rain all day -it`s now sunny-pitch should be perfect-windy though-kicking will be difficult an advan to Wigan as they know the ground. Wigan to shade this-Saints will really miss Walsh in attack as will Wigan O`Loughlin but they should overcome that and win at home.
Interesting game at Barton-just don`t know which Salford will turn up so no firm opinion on that one. |
By:
been p****g down all day in the north west, only stopped about 1/2 hour ago
Thompson and walsh suspened for saints o loughlin, manfredi and mossop all missing for the pie eaters fancy saints for this, they are doing their customary strong run for the grand final, wigan have looked gassed in the last few weeks, should be a humdinger though,be plenty of nastiness out there tonight I think |
By:
disappointing with the wet conditions, oh well, still hope for a good game

It`s been sunny since around 4 so pitch will be OK-don`t know where tommo is but I am what 15 miles away
Blackburn, rained all day but stopped about an hour ago, though the hills around Blackburn always make it look worse than it is elsewhere, pitch at the dw stadium is traditionally terrible after rain, cuts up badly |
By:
That would fit as wind is from South so rain cleared earlier.
Ref is Thaler so the game should be clean.Saints forwards will struggle to dominate as they have done in a few games of late even though they won them.Walsh was really good last week and will be a big miss. |

Quite fancy over 41.5 here

wigan keeping saints

Wigan defence solid-thats the difference Saints conceeded under similar pressure. Wigan pushing Saints down the field but an error or two spoiling their efforts
|
By:
saints realy need to score with all this possesion
|
By:
Gelling is a really good player-and unlike others sticks to his native land-cook islands -playing in all sorts games for them when he probs could qualify for NZ-good bloke
|
By:
Stevo seems obsessed with getting over the half way line -tbh Wigans escape sets have been OK.sooner he is gone the better
|
By:
im`e not a fan either,should have been binned years ago,senile owd f*****r
|
By:
Trouble is he has not progressed as the game has and has been left behind-the other guy never has had any idea.Contrast Sky lot with NRL channel 9 is it? -so much better.
|
By:
Salford could be in big trouble-MPG beckons.
How about Leeds/HKR/Leigh thru and Salford /Hudds in MPG could be!! |
By:
salford should never have moved to that stadium in the middle of nowhere
|
By:
shocking error
|
By:
saints score here it could be a game changer
|
By:
that was terrible from saints, shouldve gone for 2, were never scoring a try
|
By:
sometimes think super league is a misplaced moniker
|
By:
|
By:
ar`nt sale planning to move back to stockport, attendances for both Salford and sale have been shocking

By:
edgley park is a bit dated but very atmospheric with a big crowd(been there watching the might rovers)
p.s surely that's a push out of play??? |
By:
Yes i agree tackle complete the xtra push
|
By:
Wigan defending too good for Saints .Stevo trying to talk as if it`s close 1.1 Wigan says what it`s really like-thats it game really over 1.07 now
|
By:
saints have never looked like crossing the whitewash once tonight and iv`e never seen a side knock the ball on as much

By:

|
By:
The Saints coaching team are all old boys Cunningham/Long/Martyn etc this means a lack of ideas, innovations etc. They need a balance one of them an aussie and someone not with Saints background.Think Cunningham is staying which is why one or two transfer deals have gone bye the bye.

By:
|
By:
they seem to make so many mistakes on that
|
By:
You are supposed to keep a grip on the ball.Players push it awat to get pens-the top refs don
