TOP BOMBING WASPS!
|
By:
Christ that was bad
|
By:
Be interesting to see how these scrums develop. That was a decent nudge penalised for Bayonne
|
By:
feck me who is that 8?

He is a cracking great big lump for sure. Interesting to see how much weight Billy Vunipola has lost in the past 18 months. He's still a big lad, but Fonua's problem is that he has no acceleration, while the likes of Caucaunibuca are so devastating because they make fat move quickly.
|
By:
small lad
|
By:
I quite like how Wasps lost Vunipola and instantly signed a Fijian/Kiwi of the same size to replace him.
|
By:
Great work Wade!
|
By:
oh dear our first reference of the evening to downward pressure
|
By:
Well done Fitzgibbon for actually referring this one.
Amazing effort by Wade, not just an attacking threat. |
By:
Wasps' scrum a weak area? When has this happened before?
|
By:
wasps look very short @ 1.3 from what ive see so far
|
By:
wasps pack will be sore after this game
|
By:
Fitzgibbon with another load of rubbish. Bloke guesses for a living.
|
By:
Robson/Morris in the comm box is the worst sky have I reckon. Both annoy me totally
|
By:
I'm not too bothered with Morris, but Robson really is a pain.
|
By:
get the yellow out
|
By:
Thought he had missed that!
|
By:
spedding is playing well
|
By:
great response goode
|
By:
wasps are going to have to get Wade into the game (should they win any ball) they will not win this taking Bayonne on up front but there will be plenty of space out wide second half with a load of wide lads standing around blowing
|
By:
Not quite as open as I expected, but then we have had two tries bombed so far so could easily be looking at 30pts rather than 16.
|
By:
only just turned it on, was gna lump on wasps, but this thread has made me change my mind,
Surely wasps will win this 2nd half from only a few points behind? |
By:
There's no real sign of them getting much decent ball, but as Vis says, if they get it wide they can definitely score tries.
6-10 is about fair right now though, Bayonne been slightly better. |
By:
that's poor just before the break
|
By:
assuming other wasps winger remembers his hands second half
|
By:
What a crappy half of rugby.
|
By:
I reckon Wasps will just about sneak this but right now there is only one bet at the odds. The lack of backline subs for Bayonne has to be the biggest worry for them though
|
By:
Good to see highlights of an all-round performance by a winger. I hope Stuart Lancaster is watching.
|
By:
Nothing for the slap down?
|
By:
that wasn't even close to a knock on on the replay
|
By:
wasps ball retention is woeful
|
By:
nicely done
|
By:
that's decent from Wasps
|
By:
That was much better by Wasps.
One thing I remember from playing youth rugby is my coach always saying you never replace players when under pressure in your own 22 (unless they are injured of course). Bayonne coach needs to learn that. |
By:
Beautiful from Wade.
