That was a big gap opening up there before he dropped it.
Note: Jono Lance doesn't know the laws of rugby union. |
By:
Jaysus it was try time if Tapuai held onto that with two men spare outside.

Reds beat the Chiefs, but after yesterday that form does now not look as strong.Tahs are pants and they were able to beat the Chiefs.
|
By:
Waratahs have an unbelievable record against the Chiefs, they're a big bogey side for them plus I think they're capable of beating anyone on their day. I know what you're saying, but they beat the Chiefs with a BP in Hamilton. That is seriously impressive imo.
|
By:
I don't know if the Waratahs are that poor at all. On paper they are good and yesterday they played really well, but they did start the season like a bunch of people that needed a map to get around the park. Similar to the Reds really, awful start but not a true reflection of form.
The Brumbies drew with the Kings so I'm not sure their form is all that clever. |
By:
Lovely big pitch at Brisbane isn't it?
|
By:
Second great chance botched in midfield there by the Reds. Certainly finding some space out wide, but not making anything of it.
|
By:
Should be 0-6, but you get the feeling that it's only a matter of time before the Reds score. That's twice in 7 mins they've created huge holes in the Brumbies defence .
|
By:
Reds scrapped past the Highlanders by 1pt and beaten by the Force.I wouldn't say that form was too clever either.
|
By:
samoa tonga league international just started 0-6 after 5 mins the hits are ridiculous already seems that shoulder charge compulsory in this one!!!
|
By:
Again it's a try scoring BP away in Dunedin and they lost to the force when key players were just coming back into the side and Horwill didn't play. I think Horiwll is an unbelievably good player and such an important leader.
|
By:
That is well worked by the Reds. They wouldn't want to lose the ball though with about 11 men in the maul

By:
Yes, I really hope Horwill gets injured before the Lions tour. Possibly their most important forward.
How do you defend against that? Very impressive mauling. |
By:
hopefully this is a try as that was astonishing play
|
By:
Did that get down? Great try if it did.
|
By:
That's a try, you can ground it with your forearm
|
By:
you have to give that
|
By:
harsh - pretty sure he was still touching it as it hit turf
|
By:
All the times we have to watch countless replays when we know what happened and we get two quick looks at that? Not sure it was a try but it warranted a closer look.
|
By:
On that last angle it seems like it just about got away from him, but it must have been extremely close and only one quick look seems extraordinary
|
By:
Whether grounded or not, that is why Cooper has to be in the Aus squad. There's noone else who can create for them so flat on the gainline.
|
By:
Mogg has been superb for sometime now, must be shoo in at 15 for Aus
|
By:
I think Jesse Mogg is going to have to join him in that team. It's not like they don't have full-backs a-plenty, but he has to be in somewhere. Stick Mogg on the wing and O'Connor at full-back maybe?
|
By:
Good game this. A lot of Aussie derbies are dull as ditchwater.
|
By:
This game has certainly lived up to its billing so far. Cracking 23 mins, Brumbies got a bit of luck there but that's what happens when you hold onto the ball for so long. Cooper at the ruck was laughable.
|
By:
Could be a whole range of scores, but 7-13 now. Reds should have been up 12-6.
|
By:
Wake up Jackson ffs Horwill got all of two yards before he was tackled.
|
By:
Jeez, Genia made a mess of that. Another 7pts goes begging.
And again |
By:
Had to be 14-13 there.
|
By:
aarrgggh I see they haven't dropped ref cam yet. What a useless piece of kit that is other than as a virtual sea sickness inducer.
|
By:
Get a card out Jackson, how many penalties in the 22?
|
By:
yes, early card - good stuff
|
By:
17 man maul coming up
|
By:
If i was reffing I don't think I would be very happy having a big pointless lump of plastic stuck to my ear.
Good decision Jackson, had to be yellow but plenty of refs would have bottled it. |
By:
Not sure about the Reds decision making though. They look like scoring every time they keep the ball for more than five passes, no need to go for broke.
|
By:
FFS, Reds blowing chance after chance here.
|
By:
G0oing to be some tired legs in the second half of this, being played at 100mph
|
By:
Lance shyte again
|
By:
Another shocker.
