Scotland A 35 Saxons 0
robinson will be thinking he's left out the wrong players for the 1st XV |
By:
or that he's got one hell of a team for tomorrow!!
|
By:
That is one hell of a result for Scotland.
|
By:
Four times over the whitewash, very impressive, shame that Parks was not leading the A team last night!
|
By:
Wats the weather like over there? Wet of cold?
|
By:
That Saxons result is bizarre
Especially set alongside England U20's winning 59-3 |
By:
U20s result is irrelevant. Eng always have a very strong set up year after year at that level.
The A result is perhaps not overly relevant but certainly is a great one for Scot. Weather today? Well there will certainly be some snow/rain in the build up to the game. Whether it is still around at KO is a close call but it will be cold and the pitch will be wet. |
By:
England are pretty strong at 'A' level as well Vis, only losing twice in 20 games. Which makes last night's game all the more bizarre. Scotland have some players in that A team that can produce both great, and awful, rugby so it must just have been one where they clicked. Hogg and Weir appear to have played very well.
Having backed the wolfhounds quite heavily last week I am pretty gutted that the Saxons left their collapse until now. ![]() |
By:
I agree RM but my point is not taking A team form that heavily, if at all, when thinking about the first XV, otherwise Eng would have been ranked a lot higher than they have been in the last few years as the Saxons generally have an excellent record.
|
By:
Yes, it's useful to have A teams and age groups performing well, but it bears little relevance to the main side. Confidence booster for Scottish rugby in general though.
|
By:
Interesting thing about this game for me is say that if Tindall, Wilkinson, Moody, Worsley were selected for England think their price would be considerably closer to 1.60.

By:
Low score is surely the bet of the day in wet conditions.
|
By:
How the Fcuk are England favourite here away from home. Scotland were robbed in the World cup, England are in disarray. Weather is England's only hope but Scottish pack won't fear them.
Scotland 90% max with the 10% on the draw. England have no chance in my view |
By:
I agree lustrumm been trying to get my head around it afternoon is there something i am missing?
|
By:
Aye there is Scotland are shyte.
|
By:
Says who GPT, they were very unlucky in the World Cup and their 2 provincial sides are playing well in the #Celtic League. Scottish Rugby is emerging from the doldrums imo and one thing I have learnt down the years is that when England are bad they can be very bad. This could end up 21-3
|
By:
They just cannot score tries though.
|
By:
despite the rain having unfortunately blown over anything above 20/1 on the draw at 0-0 is a must play here. It will be very cold, the pitch will be wet, Scotland cannot score tries and Eng could easily be a bag of shyte first up.
|
By:
you can get 20's for it being a tie at h/t let alone f/t
|
By:
no way - where?
|
By:
ht/ft market on 'ere with draw/scots & draw/ingerland
|
By:
yes, 20.0 if you only count one option.............
10.0 if you want both teams and then draw/draw scuppers you |
By:
England -15.5 a great price, imo. Scotland being talked up too much and England being talked down too much.
|
By:
anyone have a live stream link?
|
By:
always cover the bases does me & the h/t draw gives a nice top in for yer, worth a play in certain conditions & teams, like today
|
By:
yes but it is not 20 on the HT draw, sub 10 if you count all the options.
Still it's worth a play on a day like today. |

By:
I think it is going to be close AND a low scoring game. I am laying Scotland HT/FT
![]() GL all! |
By:
England could of course be freed of their chains and play expansively.
|
By:
Home advantage to c the Scots through 4 me
![]() |
By:
England to give the Scots a good old fashioned thrashing
|
By:
England win for me GL.
|
By:
@ bob, yeah home advantage means a lot in this game. Dont mind a draw or Scot win but as long as Scotland dont win in both halves Im happy! GL bob
|
By:
Cheers mate GL
|
By:
Scotland turned that over well, but a better midfield move from England than we have seen for 8 years.
|
By:
same old incompetence in scoring position again though
|
