The grassroots supporters and several councillor chairpersons have resigned over the direction of the Party and its leader Mr Farage. The defections of mainly former Labour councillors to Reform UK has also upset Reform grassroot supporters and feel their political optimism for their country has been betrayed.

Does Mr Farage think the Reform UK is his alone? Any dissenting opinion or voice has been silenced. This culture of silencing was deeply concerning, says a former chair of Reform UK.

I think Mr Farage is a self-publicist, with self-interest at heart only. I also think Mr Farage will sacrifice the support of the grassroot Reformers to remain leader of Reform UK.

Mr Farage is as egoistic as any political animal as one can envisage in the UK. If Mr Farage is at the helm of Reform UK much longer and continue in its current direction, and with the influx or incursion of former Labour councillors courtesy of the Labour Party and its stance on Gaza (rightly or wrongly) Reform UK will implode, and his leadership will be history too; the grassroot supporters is the backbone of any political Party. Without its support the Party will be a goner.

If the grassroots are not heard but cast aside, and replaced by the trojan horse in the Party will be very concerning for any genuine Reform UK supporter. It will resemble a much smaller and less funded Labour Party prior to the conflict in Gaza. The trojan horse is only interested in power regardless.
