I dont think the country is ready Nobs,
Personally I think they are a waste of space but I am ambivalent. I don’t feel “ subject “ to anyone but would rather get on with my life than “ protest “ about the biggest criminal gang in the country.

would be far better for UK to get rid of or change the house of lords into a democratic institution.
Get rid of hereditary peers still lording it up and making UK laws as their silver spoon birth right.

Tough one because our democratic system currently selects for mouthy salespeople who have no clue and overlooks people with skills and experience of running things who dont want to be involved in a dirty cutthroat election campaign.
