Shadow Treasury Sec, Gareth Davies: Rachel Reeves inherited a brilliant economy.

Wilf Frost: She didn't though, did she. It was terrible.

Gareth Davies: Ok. Yes. It was terrible. But none of it was our fault. And it was ABOUT to be brilliant.

Lol

I'm so, so disappointed with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. With Labour so, so long in the political wilderness I was hoping a talented bunch would prevail when in office. As it turns out Starmer, Reeves and Saddiq are the pits. I cannot see them returning as government even now.

Shameless Starmer is not a fixer. He does not know how to. Also, he cannot think on his feet. He was and still is a brief ie someone who can only perform if supply with correct info (facts). However, a country's economy is not a written fact; it has variable factors attached, and is time sensitive.

We are £400 billion in the hole because Bunter and his Government did not have a clue what they were doing.

Little Richie spent £810 Million of tax payer money on free food that helped spread Covid and cost the country even more than £810 million

She might be useless but we have had far worse. Remember Kami Kwasi? and he had an Eton education.

Caught red-handed once more it seems, 'misremembering' at best her previous 'achievements'.

There was a time when if a Servant of the Crown had achieved a promotion, and were subsequently discovered to have presented a fake CV or false qualifications to get it, they would have been dismissed.

It can only be a matter of time before we learn she played a leading role in the construction of the Severn Bridge, Millennium Dome, and/or the new Wembley Stadium. Maybe even Stephenson's Rocket.

And who knows, we may even finally learn the truth about the Dingo Baby case?

There was a time when an honest Prime Minister would resign if he lied!

Did Rachel from accounts eat cake?

there are some weird people here. £700 million spent on the Rwanda scheme. At least 3 Home Secretaries went there and three asylum seekers were paid to go there. £810 million of tax payer money spent on Eat Out to help spread Covid about. £400 Billion borrowed by the incompetent Tories as their inadequate response to Covid.

The jokers here are more interested in nailing Rachel from accounts ( Not that I care about a person who took away the Winter Heating Allowance from our needy pensioners ).

Why is that? Did she eat cake?

What a pathetic bunch of scoundrels who show their prejudices!

That's certainly true.

I well remember one utterly clueless weirdo who, for example, would rapturously inform us about the "safe streets" of London, when all the evidence pointed (and still does) to the contrary.

What sort of a pathetic delusional scoundrel would attempt to defend the indefensible, and inexplicably try to deny the obvious?

Being a generous individual, I will spare the moron's blushes and not name him.

Again you think it's OK to have a lying COE because a previous PM ate cake during Covid.

Can't you see It's a nonsensical  argument ?

Her credibility has gone , shot to bits.  It is clear she will say anything to make herself look better.

Simple question - Are you comfortable  having a COE who has been caught lying on several occasions to further her career ?  Yes or No ?

I'm not - she has to go.

I'd say safe is subject to interpretation.

I used to work in a bookies. Was held up a couple of times, but at the same time I could walk up and down Lodge Lane during the evening, and we were regulars in the pubs on the road and I never remotely felt unsafe. But I suppose if you were someone who wets the bed at the thought of someone with dark skin being in the same postcode as you, it would have been terrifying.

No Johnny

I am not defending Rachel from Accounts who stopped Winter Fuel Allowance but allows the already rich to avoid paying their fair share. I am not defending Starmer the man who allows another man to buy his wife clothes.

I am incredulous that the usual suspects are so up in arms and incandescent with rage about her foibles.

Did she spend £810 million of tax payer money to buy burgers for fat people and spread Covid about?

Did she spend £700 million so 3 Home Secretaries and 3 bribed migrants could go to Rwanda?

Did she borrow £400 Billion to pay for Covid incompetence?

You did not seem too bothered that a previous Prime minister was sacked from every job he ever had for lying. You didn't seem too bothered he lied to Parliament or the Queen but you are aggrieved Rachel from accounts exaggerated on her CV. Was a crime committed? report it to the Po Po

Oh and guess what Johnny the previous lying Prime Minister did not eat any of the cake....he just LIED about it! Now all of a sudden you bovvered about lying politicians? Where were you during the last 14 years?
Report Johnny The Guesser February 18, 2025 6:35 PM GMT
What has your opinion on the policies of the previous government got to do with Rachel Reeves telling fibs to further her career ?  The two aren't linked, surely you can see that ?
Report Whisperingdeath February 18, 2025 6:42 PM GMT
The lies of Doris Johnson are not my opinion, they are fact!

He wanted to give his wife beater father a peerage.

Little Richie spent £810 of tax payer money on burgers for fatties that helped spread Covid again! So much so that he had to borrow £400 Billion, which, the tax payer will have to repay. As a result taxes have increased....FACT not opinion!

Rachel from Accounts telling fibs? really? Worse than lying to the Queen? Did you support his removal?

It's all a bit pathetic compared to what Chump is doing in Amrika and Gaza Birkenau and Ukraine....... she told fibs on her CV.... Should she be publicly flogged, ducking stool or burnt as a witch?
