He just can't win can he? Laugh

Joe would have run Trump closer if they had stuck with him imho regardless of performance in debates etc...

He won the primary and they needed to see it through.....He would have lost but at least it wouldnt have been a dumpster fire like this.

This clown Kamila will never be seen again. In the 2020 Democrat primary she garnered 844 popular votes ffs. Theres councillers in the UK who would get that ffs

She was a complete disaster.

As you say racing if he pulled 81 Million in 2020 , How would they not let him run ?

It was because of lockdowns that he got so many votes. People were at home and voting by mail or using drop boxes rather than waiting to go to the polls and then not bothering on the day. Trump was also the incumbent so more motivation to make sure they register their vote against him to boot him out.

So why was he replaced by Harris , Insanity to remove him TBH

They knew what Joe's health  was for 3 years ,Tbh I would rather listen to Joe than Harris

If they Knew he could pull 80 Million Votes , It didnt matter , Joe has not been running the country for some Time

Joe would not be my Favourite Flavour , But they basically slung him out after 50 Years in Politics , In favour of What ?

Madness they deserve  the beating they have received

He should have announced in the spring or summer of 2023 that he would not be seeking re-election and there would have been a proper primary process to select the candidate. He left it far too late and then handed it to Harris on a plate when we all knew she was not the best candidate.

Biden should shoulder most the blame for Trump getting back in, especially as he claims he only decided to run in 2020 because Trump had to be defeated. The stubborn old fool refused to accept he was losing his faculties until it was too late.

2020 was a perfect storm for the Dems to win.

A booming economy was crashed by Covid, and Trump was somehow blamed for both.
The plan to produce a vaccine in record time - which the Dems were very sceptical about - was ready to be announced as a success late October, but the announcement was postponed until the day after the election.
Not just the legacy media but Twitter/Google /Facebook were all blocking/shadow banning anything that supported any right wing narrative.
The BLM thing blew up a few months before the election, and had just enough momentum to carry into November, before people started to question it widely.
As Jack says, people were stuck at home so were there when the mail ballot arrived and had not much else to do other than fill it out.

But also Biden was fairly popular. He had been a skilful politican for decades. By 2020 he was basically a shell, but he had enough credit in the bank still.

Kamala just lacked so many basic political skills. Interviews and press conferences are opportunities for a talented politician, not stuff you try and avoid.

Some of my left-leaning friends in New York are convinced Jill Biden persuaded Joe to run for a second term against his wishes or better judgement.

If this had happened they would have choosen Harris. The mistake was made when Harris was selected as VP in 2020. Her performance in the democrat primary was comical. sub 1000 votes whilst Biden gets 18m+. She shouldn't have been anywhere near being VP.

Appoint a decent VP in 2020 and they are in a far better position today (even if they lose)

PS they need to bin off the Obamas and Clintons. They are despised.

They painted themselves into a corner with a 78 year old candidate and a VP that wasn't really up to it, but who was always going to be tricky to pass over due to gender/race sensitivities.

But if they could have got Joe to announce he would just serve out 1 term last September then a proper primary could have taken place.

Maybe her 'incumbency' would still have won it for her, but without a media coronation her poll numbers would likely have encouraged others into the race.

There was also the campaign money issue with laws preventing any meaningful transfer of the Biden/Harris donations to another completely new ticket.

I think they had to refund the money though. So the donors could have spent it on someone else.

As far as I know Harris was allowed to simply take the money as her name was already on the ticket and filing. Probably, in order to not annoy them, did however ask the bigger donors if they were ok with it and offered to refund if they weren't.

Harris would have been exposed in a competitive primary process just as she was in 2020 where she dropped out before the first vote in Iowa.

If they had done it in September last year there wouldn't have been that much money there anyway

Harris is on camera saying ‘we all need to be more woke’ like a competition in wokeness. Now it’s back to brass for Harris.

Biden was mixing up Zelensky and Putin, as well as men and women…and pushed for the removal of transitioning gatekeepers.

It seems the electorate finally had enough, now biden’s lasting image will be to show around his victorious rival who will dig up his ‘legacy’.

As they say: all political careers end in failure.
