Yet more bollox about AI from a politician clearly out of touch with technology.

If you are a bright young thing interested in a career in AI you hop over the pond to the US and sign up to a course at Stanford or Berkeley or MIT or Michigan Engineering or any of the other top unis doing AI development in real time.

Starmer needs to stick to robbing pensioners

Politicians need to talk a good game but no one of note is investing big money here while we're on the outside of everything looking in. Just doesn't make sense.

It's not a Brexit issue.

Big American tech companies do all their R&D in America because their heads all went to American Universities and they have extensive connections with the uni's computing departments.

It's like San Francisco, it's a **** but it has Berkeley so nearly all the tech companies headquarter there.

More Londoncentric thinking from our North London champagne-socialist leader. Whatever happened to "Levelling up" the regions?

There was one, I believe based in Scotland that the last government was investing in, that Starmer hasn’t committed to.

As ever. The projects of previous governments left to fail and be total wastes of money….while the new government comes up with their own failures.

Sir Shameless did not even reply to two letters from Sir Alan Bates about Horizon and Sub-postmasters.

If Starmer wants to kick start AI in the UK he could always invite Dmitri Dolgov over for a few weeks
