Yet more bollox about AI from a politician clearly out of touch with technology.
If you are a bright young thing interested in a career in AI you hop over the pond to the US and sign up to a course at Stanford or Berkeley or MIT or Michigan Engineering or any of the other top unis doing AI development in real time.

Politicians need to talk a good game but no one of note is investing big money here while we're on the outside of everything looking in. Just doesn't make sense.

It's not a Brexit issue.
Big American tech companies do all their R&D in America because their heads all went to American Universities and they have extensive connections with the uni's computing departments. It's like San Francisco, it's a **** but it has Berkeley so nearly all the tech companies headquarter there. London doesn't stand a chance |

There was one, I believe based in Scotland that the last government was investing in, that Starmer hasn’t committed to.
