Disturbing! he has to get 5 years at the very least. The end user is utterly complicit and should never be distanced.

Drug dealers get punished more than their customers.
Government claims they want to stop those people smuggling , they don’t punish those who get on boats. Selling cigarettes without vat is a bigger crime than buying them. Perhaps that is “absurd “ but is consistent. |

Are you upset that racist idiots who called for hotels to be attacked were sent to prison? Are these criminals your heroes? Seems perfectly reasonable to most decent law abiding citizens than people calling for destruction of property & attacks on other humans are punished. You seem upset by it. This case has f all to do with burning down hotels with people inside. Not sure why you would want to link the two. |

Thankfully the courts know a lot more than you do. I personally haven’t a clue if Edwards was suffering from mental illness or not, I trust the police/CPS/courts to check the claim. Obviously nothing to do with your support of criminals encouraging violence. Yet again you are wrong. Edwards didn’t get off free. He has been punished by the courts. Obviously you believe you know far more than the people who actually listened to the evidence. Why do you support the racist criminals who admitted they broke the law and have been punished by the courts? |

Confirmed cops found 40 illegal pics on Huws phone in November of last year dating back since 2021...
.. but cops confirmed that no laws was broken when the sun case was referred to the Met police back in July 2023 ... weren't they looking at his whatsapp back then?? |

Those racist criminals, pleaded guilty. They accepted that they are criminals. They made a realistic threat…. None of them suggested that they would invent a new Death Star & destroy the sun. they were going to be remanded in jail for months even if they'd eventually been found not guilty. Their pleas made no difference to the time served. In the US incitement has to pose a threat of being acted upon imminently. We do not have any terrorist groups blowing up mosques, and if there were it's doubtful they would take orders from a 53 yo housewife on facebook. Just have facebook delete her post and move on is the sensible course. |

The sensible course is for the courts to accept the guilty plea from the criminal & follow the sentencing guidelines for THIS country. Of course there will be a few people who are upset that these racist criminals are punished. Encouraging people to attack hotels with people in them is not civil behaviour. They were encouraging very real acts of violence. There was genuine fear from the victims of these attacks. It is correct that the courts deal with those responsible for causing this fear in innocent people. The criminals involved had legal advice , some have decided to plea not guilty & will have a trial at a later date. |

He still hasn't paid the £200k back after he was arrested that the BBC asked for.
Pretty sure it will have been paid on the basis that he was innocent until proven guilty, as hopefully its in his bbc contract that he will be fired if they commit offences such as this or something along those lines... so when he pleaded guilty he should have handed it back. Be very interesting to see what the BBC do and if there is pensions owed from them if he doesn't pay the £200k back. |

I read that the most he could have served was 1yr imprisonment, only classed as possession of images not distributing or making them which recieve higher sentences.

People talking about convictions, I imagine this long drawn out complete and utter public humiliation and shame has done more harm to him, his family and his career then any spell behind bars will ever do, probably going to wake up soon to the news he's topped himself.
