An enquiry that took 5 years and cost millions (Lawyers have made a fortune), to tell us what we've all known
since the day after the fire. The cladding caused the spread. What has been done since then. Many people still
living in blocks with unsafe cladding.
This cladding was involved in a similar but smaller event a number of years ago. A long enquiry came to the
conclusion that the cladding was not up to snuff. Pickles swept it under the carpet when he realised that it would
cost the Government and Corporations many millions. So instead of passing legislation he passed the buck to
owners and Councils by making a recommendation that they remedy the situation, but no legal requirement to do
so.
Those people died as a direct result of greed. Money speaks louder than deaths where successive Governments
and Corporations are concerned. No doubt the 'Elite' will do everything they can to avoid any responsibility.

Meanwhile let's not forget this 2018 report of just some of the ghouls who stole and profited from the catastrophe at Grenfell. Further were to subsequently be exposed.
Much less has been said about these disgusting individuals. Especially by London politicians and 'progressive' media types.

I see you'd rather concentrate on those 'ghouls' who profited rather than the real ghouls who profited and stole and were responsible for the deaths of people. I can't imagine what your agenda is.

A doctor friend has a colleague who's married to a brother of the family some of whom perished at Grenfell. The bloke actually gonen downstairs (ground floor) to speak to the firemen at the entrance to ask if his family needed to evacuate. The reply was no.
His family members home that evening perished, and the bloke is still having intensive psychotherapy to try and come to terms with it. He's still blaming himself for their loss of lives.
Now Kensington and Chelsea council has "given" him and his surviving family members a house in Chelsea to live in. I do not know whether this is for the interim (7 years) or forever.
I hope corporates will be brought to justice, and a custodial sentence imposed on those responsible eg CEO, etc, given the strong condemnation of the wanton disregard for safety by the findings of the tribunal.
