I think our Police are heroes, imagine waking every day with the prospect of violence. They are the best and people want to have some respect for these decent people

What I can't really understand though is their tactics for dealing with rioting crowds. The army in NI had a tactic of forming a line of soldiers with shields, helmets and stuff but behind them were so called snatch squads. These, hiding a bit, dressed in minimal gear for speed but armed with wooden batons would rush out and belt anyone at the front and snatch the ringleaders.
Snatch squads and more dogs would certainly deter these thugs.

^ 100% correct. Same here in Ireland. Absolutely zero confidence in the police from the general public.
Oh come on irishone, it does not matter which side protest,they all attack the Police, throwing bricks poles you name it. What the hell is going through the minds of these thugs? Imagine for a minute that was your son or Daughter in a Police uniform. In my opinion the Army should called in for back up,the sight of Police having to run away from thugs is frightening.
People like Charlie v and audit Britain should be locked up for the way they try to discredit Police and for provoking trouble with people who they pass in the street Charlie inults leftists and he had a privvy education and is causing trouble so he can make money lots of it for posting videos on YouTube. The man his sick with greed.And a Tory for sure!

I expect not myself if the two tier rules apply. Someone may know.
Must say it is very amusing to hear the cry-arse sheep faithfully bleating along with the two-tier nonsense, when there are videos of a brown lad getting stomped on the head for resisting arrest while white folks are seen breaking into shops and setting fire to bins while the police stand around and do nothing. Don't think you quite get it lads.

Nah, there's always plenty of people pissed off at life and their prospects and are gullible enough to blame foreigners rather than the actual cause. Hence, why this new narrative of two-tier policing is so amusing as it's just from the same playbook and the same victims are drinking it down without bothering to question a single thing.

Terrible and unexcusable. We must however recognise that people who deal with violence daily so suffer mental trauma.
So there could be hundreds of coppers (after these riots) now going out into our communities with mental trauma and may do similar?
