Nominations opened at 7pm on Wednesday July 24, closing at 2.30pm on Monday July 29.
That's a really short amount of time for potential candidates to canvass other MP's and gauge support and to form alliances, given state of disarray of the party and the rest of the process will take over 3 months.
It's between Kemi and Jenrick IMHO and ATM neither is a clear winner
Both are from the right wing of the party, I think it unlikely both will make it to the final 2.

I read your BBC link, and some of the spectator article, and couldn't see anything in
them that would remotely ruin her leadership chances.
