Apollo 15 launched astronauts Dave Scott, Jim Irwin, and Al Worden to the Moon #OTD in 1971. It was the first of the Apollo "J" missions which allowed a longer stay (nearly 3 days) and more mobility (lunar rover time!) on the lunar surface.

#OTD in 1971, the Lunar Rover Vehicle (LRV) made its lunar debut during the #Apollo 15 mission!

During this mission, the LRV would travel just over 17 miles, logging three hours and two minutes of driving time. Look back at the mission....

Of course it happened. A few of the minor events might have been censored but does anyone seriously believe that something that big could be faked and then all of those in the know kept quiet for 55 years? NASA employed thousands back then and most of them would have seen at least some of the preparations not to mention the launch.

There were lots of deniers on here.

Moon landing denial was a gullibility test
