About 300 asylum seekers housed on the Bibby Stockholm barge have been moved off the vessel, said the BBC.
They have been taken to temporary accommodation “across the country” before being told whether they have been granted leave to remain in the UK, said the Home Office.

A Home Office spokesperson said: “This government inherited an asylum system under unprecedented strain, with thousands stuck in a backlog without their claims processed.

Will we save 7 billion if they give asylum to most of them (they will) and they end up on minimum wage claiming housing benefit?
