They surely must realise they are no longer relevant and are living well into the past if they think they are, the Sun stopped printing their circulation figures years ago because they were overtaken and because time marched on, social media and mass media took over, the days of fleet street, Wapping or wherever they are now having any real clout in General elections are long since over. People get their news instantly from a million different sources, parties no longer have to pander to the written press for support.

The power newspapers wield has been declining for many years, especially tabloids. I still remember when Daily Express had some standing, look at it now Lord Beaverbrook started spinning in his grave 25 years ago and he hasn't stopped spinning.
