When asked by US podcaster Theo Von during his UK visit 'What's the most dangerous place to be around here', he responded by saying: "Here? I'd say every area of London. Literally, every area is sketchy. I think that you cannot be anywhere. It's not like a segregated city. No, I mean the nice areas are sketchy, the bad areas are sketchy, but you just have to not do stupid sh**. If you wander around with, I dunno, like a Louis Vuitton duffel bag and a 200 grand watch, you are going to get robbed. But just don't do that."

then prattled on about how the Tories don't support the arts (because there's nothing better to spend money on in a cost of living crisis atm is there Ed), how about drawing attention to the Mayor of London overseeing this crime ridden city, everythings' got worse in regards to crime. God knows how he got re-elected, I don't know anyone in London that likes him let alone supports him, and I mean not one single person, can't be Muslims blindly voting for him because he's Muslim, Mr Khan has done nothing but promote same sex marriage and promote all things relating to gay pride. I am confused.com.

Kind Regards.

The government have completely lost control of crime because there are no prison placed available to lock-up violent criminals.

Nowt to do with any mayors or policemen.

He pours money into ULEZ and prattles on about climate change and LGBTQ+ rights, when kids in London are running around stabbing each other, draws barely any attention to it let alone resources into it. Yes Tory mugs partly to blame as well.

The Mayor of London and the Met have filled up all the available prison places.

There simply are no places to send violent criminals because the government have been too busy looting the country to build enough prison places.

Keir Starmer has confirmed that Labour is likely to continue the early release scheme for prisoners if it wins the election. Speaking to reporters, he said “in all likelihood” the early release scheme would continue. He went on:

It simply wouldn’t be realistic for me to say, ‘the prisons are overcrowded on Thursday at 10 o’clock but somehow I’ve magicked up a new prison on Friday morning’ – that isn’t going to happen.

I have to say it’s shocking to have to inherit a problem like that, that our criminal justice system has gotten to a point where we’re releasing prisoners who should be in prison early and giving instructions to the police not to arrest in certain cases. That is how broken the system [is] – got to pick that up and start the fix, but also not just fix but renew and take forward.

There are far too many folk in jail when a community order
would be appropriate.

Sending folk to jail on short terms does no good whatsoever for
anything.

That's something that's long overdue, and Ken clarke
was going to address it.

"Imprisonment is a total breach of Human Rights. People detained against their will is totally outrageous." Get used to these words as from Friday July 5th, that will be government policy. If you think the perpetrators have more rights than victims now, just wait to see what we're all in for from Friday!

Big cities can be a bit dodgy especially if you go around flaunting luxury and extremely muggable brands.

Dramatic news! We'll have more after the break.

My nephew is a jailbird. I think he's been 3 times but hasn't been inside for years as he's never violent.

Nobby, I have a mate who was sentenced numerous times for not paying fines.

He was happy to do a week inside.

london is a city-state unlike the rest of the uk

much as i dislike people spending 10s of thousands on kettles they dont deserve to be attacked and robbed

i have a chum similar to laughables-hes never had a job and a life-long crook who owns several properties and hes done 9 months in pentonville for all his crimes

an absolute bargain he says-and hes not kidding. although hes stopped now

Not paying fines is contempt of court. Should never be a prison sentence.

Should be a dozen strokes of the birch every week until they are paid.
