Bardella is meant to be become Prime Minister if RN wins, although he has already said he'd only accept the office if RN gain an absolute majority in the next parliament.

I am glad you asked and show keen interest, saddo!

Yesterday a German ran the 100m sprint in less than 10 seconds for the first ever time in an officially sanctioned event. The first ever time in all of Germany's history. It was a most monumental day for German athletics.

The "Progressive" Left, the Cultural Enrichers, the Peace-Loving Religious Scholars and doubtless a few Morocco football supporters fro the last World Cup,  are ALREADY setting fire to buildings and rioting. Just like we knew they would. Just why the electorate voted for Le Pen.

They didn't get the result they believe they were entitled to, so they turn to violence, completely proving the point of those who rightly condemn such vermin, and say so.

Get the feeling the French result, the trouble on the streets and the reaction of our mainstream press in the next few days won't be massively helpful to Reform on thursday.

Ha ha. Don't really think smelly French students rioting (it's called democracy, live with it) and the UK media with their 'how could this being happening' confused faces look, barely holding back their anger, will have any effect on Thursday. Guardian readers must be in meltdown territory what with Biden's performance last week, and now this.

Sorry if me having an opinion triggered you so. I'll try to remember your feelings in future.

I'm sure many people will applaud the result. Anti-immigration sentiment is rising quickly
across the continent, Mrs Merkel can take much of the credit for this.

I'm not sure that is amongst Le Pens aims, anyone paying taxes and generally living a normal life respecting France maybe more like it?

Why has she abandoned Frexit? That was her main agenda a few years ago.

the others will join together to stop the right who after all are a minority

lepen;s party has it's roots in former vichy france officials - i.e. collaborators and appeasers - won't be allowed to run the country

wont be allowed? by who?

even if they win enough votes?

im no fan of her but if she wins why is it legitimate to riot?

would you say as much if the left-which has roots in communism(france had the biggest cp in europe)? no

and harking back to its roots is a feeble way of opposing her and shows a lack of imagination and undertanding how the world has chaged since that time

my dislike for her is her love of putin, which trumps almost everything

voters
Report mitolo July 1, 2024 11:50 PM BST
why didnt you say they wont win the vote, rather than 'allowed'? it insinuates something else and is open to misinterpretation. you arent a big fan of democracy so your opinion is decidedly untrustworthy

and as usual you selct a tiny bit to answer but ignore what you dont like

stop being such a cry-baby

im no fan of her but if she wins why is it legitimate to riot?

where did I say it was ok to riot?

would you say as much if the left-which has roots in communism(france had the biggest cp in europe)? no

they didn't collaborate with the nazis

and harking back to its roots is a feeble way of opposing her and shows a lack of imagination and undertanding how the world has changed since that time

not changed that much at all - alarmingly similar in fact
Report mitolo July 2, 2024 12:13 AM BST
now then et. you know im not

again you are being disigenous

the leftists have already started ritoing-i didnt say you said it

the fact the left didnt colloborate is irrelevant-you said the right had its roots as a way to disparage it but the point you ignore is that you dont disparage the leftists despite them being fellow-travellers with a brutal regime that enslaved half of europe post-war. youd never serve that up as an example of why they are unfit but you use vichy as an example of why the rigth is dangerous and ignore the lefts appalling record of appeasing oppression

its changed a lot. unprecendented immigration during peacetime. the un human rights and refugee charter didnt envisage anything like what we are experiencing now

Easy to criticise French people faced with a choice of co-operating with Hitler and fighting him. Same now in Russia and China. Do you oppose Putin or the Chinese regime and face ruin and probable death or pretend to be a supporter? We are all human and most will opt for survival.
