Like it or not ( and I'm not keen on any of the Judaic religions) there is a bit of life in Islam. These people were peaceful but have had a lifelong ambition to make the pilgrimage to Mecca ( I find it delusional but each to their own if they're not trying to blow me up ). I believe if you are a rich Muslim you can make the pilgrimage in more or less perfect safety.
