I find it a bit weird how the right have more or less given up in trying to reach across the divide and convince slightly left of centrists to vote for them. Trump is clearly suffering from some cognitive disorder but his policies are essentially: stop all migration (inc kicking thousands of people out), get even more dependent on oil and gas and, tax cuts for the rich and big business. There's just nothing there for democratic voters at all. He's simply relying on Dem voters not turning up. They may have a plan of trying again to bully people away from polling stations. Possibly. My money's still on the Republicans as I think Dem voters are jaded and Biden's messages on the economy just haven't cut through, but it's a bit mad how there isn't even an attempt to pinch some voters.


Same with Reform over here. There isn't really any attempt to get more voters. It's all just preaching to the converted and them and the tories are just scrapping for this small percentage of elderly white voters who'll all be dead in ten years' time.

Have to wonder what the long term vision of these parties is.

Both Trump and Farage (Reform) don't do concessions. Their message and policies have to be ultra pure in their hatred of liberals. American politics are completely toxic and we might go the same way.
