Regarding Germany and some potentially slightly racist tendencies though.:

In preparation for the Euro champs one of the public broadcasters made a documentary. Anecdotally, the makers here and there came across wishes that the skin tones of the people in the national men's football team were less colourful. They then commisioned a poll where two of statements people would agree or disagree with were

Ich fände es besser, wenn wieder mehr weiße Spieler in der deutschen Nationalmannschaft spielen. (I'd like it better, if there were more white players in the German national team again)

and

Ich finde es schade, dass der derzeitige Kapitän der deutschen Fußballmannschaft türkische Wurzeln hat. (I regret that the captain of the German national team has turkish roots)

The first one found an agreement of 21% (47% among AfD voters, 38% among Wagenknecht voters for the second biggest proponents of more white people in the team)
The second one found an agreement of 17% (28% among AfD voters, but interestingly only 9% among the Wagenknecht ones, putting them behind CDU/CSU (19%) and SPD (15%))

There was a bit of controversy about the poll from Bild (Germany's more or less monopolistic tabloid), Nagelsmann and such. Although they seemed to be more concerned with the commission of the poll, or at least the timing of it being unfortunate and bringing attention to the wrong things so shortly ahead of the tournament, rather than the result that slightly more than a fifth of the asked were found to openly wish for a more white team.

Do people mind when some members of the German team don’t sing the National anthem, or just consider that it is their choice.

The Spanish have been refusing to sing along to their anthem for as long as I can remember & they don’t get any abuse.

Yeah, there are sometimes some rumblings about that.I would assume some of those coming from the public were racially motivated when concerning especially Mesut Özil, but I also know that Paul Breitner back in 1971 was banned by either the coach or the DFB for two national team games when he voiced that singing the anthem hurts his concentration. So it's not exclusively about race. Or at least wasn't in the 1970s.

Didn't really deter that Beckenbauer, Vogts, Breitner et al. generation from doing the nation a great patriotic disservice by singing along to the anthem like this in 1974.

Can't say anyting about the public reactions about the non-singing of the anthem in the 70s.

Some people can't or don't sing and feel embarrassed to be seen trying in front of millions.
I can't see why sportsmen and women should feel compelled to sing. Some will want to, some will not.

of the respective age group give their vote to the AfD. This is for Germany as a whole. Will likely be lots higher in East Germany.

Also, I find the thing with cancelled elections always a bit weird. Ukraine has about 20% of its territory occupied. Even if their constitution allowed elections, how are you going to do them safely?

Germany's constitution in the same situation doesn't allow elections either. The UK famously cancelled elections during world war II, and you guys didn't even have your territory occupied.
