I travelled about 10 years ago in a European heat wave (40c+ daily for about a month). That type of heat is suffocating. A westerner (UK & Ire) would struggle to last more than 10-15mins in direct sun (Even with water on board). I remember pouring bottles of water over my head at 10pm at night it was so hot.

It takes time for the human body to get used to these sort of temperatures if you are not used to them and it was apparently only the second day of their holiday.

What was his view on the vaccine dbtb? I see he rushed out a book on Covid 19 during May 2020 but I think that was too early to assess any vaccine against it.

Why did he embark on such a trek in the first place.?
He left the beach where he was with his wife and friends. Reportedly saying he felt unwell. I find the fact that they let a 67yr old man walk off in 40° heat,with no protection apart from an umbrella - (and no phone ) quite astonishing.
What was he doing,where was he going ? Back to the villa where they were staying ?

There are a lot of questions !

One of which is the CCTV  footage from the bar, showing him falling ( on Wednesday), wasn't looked until after his body was found.
Pity it wasn't reviewed on a routinely  daily basis !

Not arduous ? Those steep rocky hills in that temperature for a 67yr old would have quickly caused his body to dehydrate.

BBC newscaster states cause of death cannot immediately be ascertained due to extensive decay of the body.Not surprising being out in those temperatures for 4 days.
