I was chatting with an old friend who travelled to France regularly for holidays. He told me he has ever seen the French so angry about "life" and politics there. It will be interesting to see how they cope with the Olympics. I still enjoy Portugal but there is nowhere else in EU that I want to go right now.

But the real tragedy is actually the fact the perceptions of all those who ignored what the group stood for and instead saw them as ‘far right’ and seemed intent on them being the ‘bad guys’.
So when an extremist started stabbing people and got challenged by one of them, I’m assuming the copper sees a member of this group fighting an ethnic guy and jumps to the ethnic guys aid, and apparently tackles the guy from the group….leaving the extremist open to murder the copper by stabbing him in the neck.

Him possibly having misjudged a very hectic situation is not sufficient reason to defame the deceased police man you otherwise know absolutely nothing about at all as dim and useless, even when you see it as a welcome chance to express a personal anti-police stance.

Whichever way you look at this, the German authorities have had their pants pulled down good and proper.
All the automatic ‘far right’ stereotypes getting people;s backs up, when it looks like they had both a green light to have the event and a legitimate cause- no doubt the very problem they would have been emphasising is the very thing that happened.

I realise you, and other anti-police folk, are very desperate to have your anti-police agenda and defamation of them, which is why you all are so eager to spread this version of events of the dead police man being a brainwashed racist two-tour policer, but allow me to educate you:
What happened is that the dude in the blue jacket came over from the public transport. He does wear a blue jacket like them, but does not belong to the the initially attacked Stürzenberger and his team. They also said they do not even know him. Guy in the blue jacket wanted to help, but made a mistake and ended up attacking one of those people that tried to fight the guy with the knife. The police man tried to help and protect those people.

The Germans make excellent workers, they build good cars.

What a sad episode. My heart goes to the family of the murdered police officer. As for the Afghan refugees I hope their elders will have a stern talking to the youngsters and hot-heads. Otherwise, these refugees could be expelled with the minimum of law transgression in the country and from the far-right in Germany and Europe.

I think Mr Tusk's has forgotten the handouts Poland received from the EU which has invigorated the Polish economy and living standard and prosperity of the Polish people; the hospitality and generosity his Polish people received from Western EU member states.

Sorry impossible123, but why exactly is Tusk seemingly not allowed to worry about Russian aggression because they have received EU funds in the past? Why does it matter that Tusk "has forgotten" about EU funds in regards to him "playing up" Russian aggression?
And boy are you holding long lasting grudges over Tusk having a bit of fun with with cakes and non-existing cherries.

May I suggest authorities send the refugees to China or any countries in East and Far East Asia. Even South Asians would rather remain in their countries rather than chance it in these countries; there is no welfare, housing or benefit system in these countries. Also, competition for jobs is intense, and productivity is 2nd to none there.

Well Poland is special, it's allowed to do as it pleases but this looks bad so needs polished up a bit.

That young man in the black shirt had apparently stolen AfD campaign posters from the street, Koch saw him, ran after him to confront him, but was then stabbed somewhere before the robber fled.

From what I know they mostly aren't even allowed to, although with legislation in this regard being a matter of the states, it might be allowed in some states. What they mostly are allowed to charge are people that only want to pee without consuming anything.
If you do not want to pay for a public toilet, nor want to accompany your toilet visit with a beverage of your choice, then looking for university buildings might be a good emergency plan. If your conscience can live with you using a toilet you had no real right to use. If you can live with cheating your way to a pee.

Just to mention that these days in the uk , staffed hours in libraries are hugely reduced compared to what they were . All library members have a card and passcode which allows them in to an unstaffed library at most times of every day , even just to use the loo . It is actually progress .

Not just Germany, The toilet grandma/grandpa is a thing in various night clubs and casinos in London. They hand you a clean towel, offer you some cologne, make sure the toilets are clean etc.
I've also encountered them in various countries, In some it's a compulsory fee (which is often a shock and outrage to fellow brits), others it's an optional tip.
