The "race card" defence had been played most successfully.
It would be played again.

OJ Simpsons lawyer has vowed to prevent
any money from his estate being passed to
the families of the murder victims . He was found
liable in a civil court for $33.5 million, now $100million
That’s the lawyer from the original trial

Race card was played against racist police.

Jury was mixed, and all acquitted.

Firman was racist filth, showing him up was
almost as important as the glove not fitting.

Guilty as Sin  , If he was White and Two black people had been killed , Would have been Mass Riots

Hundreds of Police were on Stand By  for a Guilty Verdict

What kind of people Support a Man who has murdered the Mother of his Children ,incredible

The Copper was Racist , What About the Simpson Supporters ?

Simpson supporters were not caught lying under oath in the trial

Neither was Evidence produced that was Produced at the Civil Trial that would have found Him Guilty , Why was that I wonder ?

Done for Armed Robbery and Kidnap a few years Later , Lovely fella

The laws around evidence being admitted to criminal trials and civil trials are different, as is the standard of proof.

It's a simple was it more likely than not that OJ killed
them, at civil trial, and of course that's the case.

The certainty of proof required at a criminal trial meant
he was found not guilty.

There was certainly doubt it anybody wanted to
see it, mixed in with the also certainty he dun it!

If a jury consists of people of different political beliefs, different race, different religion, different culture
to the accused it is impossible to feel sure and and confident in these members of the jury and their ability to
arrive at a safe and correct judgement
This is a major problem in America , and increasingly Britain

It is a fundamental right that a person is tried by their peers.

Lfc is correct in that the peers keep producing perverse verdicts based on
personal views and not evidence.
Report lfc1971 April 15, 2024 3:12 PM BST
An example would be N Ireland where diplock courts had to be introduced
Because they couldn’t trust Irish nationalists to convict IRA
That’s an example of religion and politics making the jury system unfit for purpose
But make no mistake - it applies in America re race politics  etc
Report lfc1971 April 15, 2024 3:16 PM BST
You have to be tried and found innocent , or guilty , by your peers who believe in the same things
Irish nationalist and Protestants were not peers . And people in America are not peers , likewise here
Report lfc1971 April 15, 2024 3:24 PM BST
peer : to look narrowly or curiously , especially : to look
searchingly at something difficult to discern …

OJ Simpson can now rest in the knowledge that the killer of his ex-wife is now dead Mischief

It has been reported that cancer killed OJ but after a lengthy autopsy cancer has been found not guilty Mischief

I've been dragged down a rabbit hole by the youtube algorithm on OJ ffs.

What a total shambles the case was. The prosecuters Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden wouldn't have been out of place in a clownshow.

One interviewer post verdict asked Darden if there was a romance between him and Clark and the clown actually smirked and entertained the question.

Its a strange case though as to what actually happened. The Prosecution claimed Nicole Brown had been attacked and Ron Goldman happened upon the scene. More likely he flew into a rage seeing them together or at least Goldman there already.

The idea there was nothing going on between the 2 victims is laughable as well. He was driving her car few weeks before ffs

did OJ have a hamshank before he tried on glove
Report Racingqueen October 16, 2024 7:28 PM BST
