Could it be anything to do with one of them was a general election and the other was a by election?

I've tried googling for 5 minutes to find the postal votes for the 2 by-elections held a fortnight before this one. But not found any data of parliament site or wikipedia.
i'd guess the returning officer publishes all his stuff on a local borough website, maybe not.
Got any suggestions as to where to find the number of postal votes on those?

If someone truly despises the Conservative Party I guess it is a positive even if it means victory for someone who....has chosen to perform as a broadcaster for autocratic and theocratic regimes that truly and utterly hate and work against the UK.

What Israel does is not decided in Rochdale or even the UK.

Rochdale Borough Council have confirmed that 13,460 postal votes were cast in the Rochdale by-election, 43.2 percent of the votes cast and more than 12,335 received by winner George Galloway.

The only time I have ever admired the said George Galloway was when he stuck it to the U.S. senators making them look utter fools as he did so. He was class that day.
