There's quite a likelihood that the candidates are the first people given the written results of the election they stood in.

Right winger politicians are like betfair punters. They never ever lose, they just get cheated out of winning.

Nigel Farage calls for investigation into Rochdale by-election postal voting

Nigel Farage has said there needs to be a review into the way postal votes were collected in the Rochdale by-election after it emerged that almost half of all votes cast came through that method.

Rochdale Borough Council have confirmed that 13,460 postal votes were cast in the Rochdale by-election, 43.2 percent of the votes cast and more than 12,335 received by winner George Galloway.

In memory of Rochdale's finest, Gracie Fields, I offer this dreadful ditty.

Is he ,

The man from War On Want, who lost Respect, for Tony Blair, and licked the rss of “good” Sadaam and Corbyn;s thingummyjig”?
“Could he be a Russian spy, does he wear a Putin tie, does he want all Jews to die and does he wear a sticky-taped wig”?

GG asked Saddam to allow weapons Inspectors in to save many Iraqi lives.
Tony Blair has blood on his hands following taking us into an illegal war when he was kissing Bush's 4ss.
He's not a Russian spy and doesn't want Jews to die en masse.

Good points, well made.

Why is it that the only person given the benefits of the murdoch platform to gain enough currency to speak up like this has a long documented history of moral bankruptcy? Something smells.

I can understand why so many on here support Mr Galloway for the content of his orations and are thus able to ignore the content of his actions.

I'm a bit puzzled why so many of the same people vilified Ian Blackford for speaking up about Johnson, calling him a liar and getting ejected from parliament.

A man telling the truth is a man telling the truth.

You lot seem to only like "some" truths

P.S. imho this was the moment starmer showed how inappropriate person he is to be a leader, or a UK PM.
He could have seized the day simply by ordering all of his MP's to follow Blackfords lead, repeating the truth and be expelled from Parliament. The global sized fall out of the entire opposition being ejected from parliament because the PM lied would have ended his premiership in 48 hours.

blackford had the last laugh, he got to repeat his words in parliament without any intervention from the speaker circa 18 months later.

I think if your name is George you should be in parliament with at least a 51% Chance of doing better than dishonorable Rishi.

The only time I have ever admired the said George Galloway was when he stuck it to the U.S. senators making them look utter fools as he did so.  He was class that day.

Galloway was very impressive during Lammy's urgent question on Gaza and Israel today.
