Just below 'just enough' is the worst amount, because after having a giddy time splaffin all the money away .... you get too hungry for it and you'd probably end up in GA trying to get back to the good life aagain.

We've all seen money 'change' people but were they that person to begin with given the chance ?
Of course, the answer to a happy life has little to do with wealth although it does smooth the edges as you go along tbf

If anyone has watched Hatton they will know what I am on about. Rickys father apparently tried to rip his son off. He was his manager and entrusted with the money but quite large sums went missing thus leading to a lot of unhappiness for many people.

What is always alarming is the lack of financial knowhow in the general public. JHB stated that when the focus grouped people on a policy suggestion of a penny increase on income tax to pay for the NHS, they thought it was a penny. Literally 1p in total !

Watched this docu today. A few oddities. Seems Ricky wasn't as 'poor' as his public profile suggested. His old man seemingly owning and running a number of businesses. The kids are grown up now, how come they never featured? Seems extraordinarily magnanimous for Ricky to forgive his dad for skanking him. The mum appeared to sanction this practice. He skanked the trainer too, and allowed it to go all the way to court. Ray claimed he knew what his son was worth. How on earth did he know that all he had done to that point was sell carpets and pints.
It was a reminder of how big and mainstream these fighters and fights used to be.
