In my view she has ruined that show.
It’s not just that the quality of guest has markedly declined, it is her detrimental habit of trying to belittle almost every contestant. Whenever somebody makes a funny comment that raises a laugh, Toksvig invariably tries to stifle the laughter with a derogatory quip… and it kills the conversation stone dead.
Stephen Fry was significantly more adept at keeping the banter flowing, resulting in a far superior programme.

Fry allowed the guests to funny, encouraged them. Toksvig just tries to make it all about herself.

I watched QI when it first came out. I didn't think it was funny either lfc and gave up after a few episodes. I've seen Toksvig present 15/1, not much you could do to mess that one up.

Can't be that bight only got a second class degree. Got where he did through the Cambridge connections. Over rated in my opinion (but not by himself). Sandi is much more likable.
