The fact that illegal immigrants get treated better than many of the poor, the homeless, veteran soldiers. Tells us all we need to know about the governments efforts to halt the arrivals of illegals into this country.

Some immigrants and some locals in the UK are constantly criticising the UK policy on immigration. I wonder how these pro-refugees UK residents would feel if the government placed the newly arrived refugees in the same area and town as them.
No matter what our Home Sec does she's on a hiding to nothing. The UK is an island, and without cooperation from the EU eg the (legal) ability to send back boat refugees back to where they came from or set-off eg France, the UK has to house them somewhere. I suggest on a boat or an island away from mainland UK until their immigration status is determined however long it may take. |

Belgium is the latest country to be overwhelmed by economic migrants ,so much so that the 71% single males are being denied shelter.
So either Belgium has left the EU ,or this problem is all over Europe as well as USA and many many other areas of the world. Therefore to rejoin and reopen our borders to stop these economic migrants is just about the stupidest piece of remoaner propaganda ever. Should the UK ever rejoin, a quick way for the likes of Belgium ,France ,Germany ,Italy,Greece ,Spain etc etc to lose their unwanted migrants would be to speedily issue them all, EU passports and a £37 one way dan dare ticket to Stansted ,instant access to benefits and accommodation and zero annoying little boat trips and bogus asylum claims. We copped 8.5 million last time we were in ,1.01 a UK rejoin will result in a much larger haul. |

If we rejoined we would not need a home secretary ,immigration would be controlled from Brussels ,we would receive our quota of the millions coming through the weeping EU borders ,maybe Turkey will let the 3.9 million they hold back or Tunisia the 3/4 million they hold back ,all want to come to Europe.
Perhaps a few more Romanians will avail themselves of our limitless hospitality ,either way it will not be for us to discuss or decide. All would be entitled and free to enter ,uncounted ,no specific skill sets needed ,total uncontrolled mass immigration. Not far fetched, exactly as we had before ,we will get a gallon into a quart pot and cut a cake into 6 quarters ,we are socialists ! |
