I thought there were new variants battling
for supremecy,... Until the next wave comes along. No jabs ready, government will play it down Send some clown out to skake hands with sufferers Then film him "nearly dying" in hospital |

Suppression of early treatment.
Millions of deaths predicted by Imperial College’s Commodore 64 computer. Witty and Valance with their doctored graphs. PM putting the fear of God in people every night. Total obedience from the media. Little edy on here. What’s not to like? |

Can't wait to get me some more natural immunity - at least flu might fark off again for christmas
|

I think we were feckin lucky with covid. Hugely contagious but less than 1% death rate.
Humans are due a cull. Imagine if it Rabies or Ebola managed to spread like wildfire in a cinema or bus like covid did. The antivaxers would be laughing all the way to their graves. Something will come along one day sooner or later and remind us of the tenuous grasp we hold on life. The vaxers and the antivaxers got lucky this time. [beer emoji] |
By:
Had point blank refused to take a flu jab for years, in the face of the wife's protests, and never even sniffled. Did the double about 18 months ago and took both jabs and, within a month, I;d had both - Covid and Flu.

Something will come along one day sooner or later
The way things are Going something needs to come along and wipe the Whole Shebang Out ,A world Becoming full of Greed, Perversion, Bullshit and Insane Beliefs .. Can you imagine what it will be Like in 50 years ,The words sh1t hole will not Cover the state of 80 % of it .. level the lot of it , perhaps in a couple of million years Some thing might Come along make good use of the space , Humans have failed miserably . |
By:
escapee, yes it was contagious, like flu and yes something will come along, either natural or man made.

Can you imagine what it will be Like in 50 years
You won't have to wait that long youtube.com/watch?v=gSl3pLr9Fzc Gambling tool for lemmings can decide everything |

What happened to the natural immunity we all acquired from the last lot?
And no lasting effects for the triple jabbed and boosted pincushions either. Oh I see, they can't bottle that and make money from selling it, so natural immunity won't work with a new variant. The liars. As Laurence Fox put it: But there is a sense that the gap in trust between the peasants and the political class has widened significantly. Yes, and to the point that sceptics like me don't believe a word any of them say. |

That quote from Foxy was in regard to climate change. It appropriate here as well.

Can we go back to that thick village idiot posting the daily ESTIMATED convid and hospital admission figures each day again on a gambling forum.
That was deciding for me if I actually left the house to go to work, pub bookies or pub over last three years. |
By:
Which one Benny, could you narrow it down a bit?
|
By:
Which other 'viruses' do we know of that supposedly get 'more deadly' or scary over time rather than weaken in their bid to survive and spread ?
Also, will Africa be exempt once more from all this suffering ? |
By:
Also, will we be on the thick end of a shaming from our overlords via mainstream media and big starry names pointing fingers at people having 'freedom of choice' when it come to their bodies ?
Bad enough here but if anyone has conveniently forgotten how that tasted here's a snippet of what the Americans had to put up with ... QUITE UNREAL https://twitter.com/KanekoaTheGreat/status/1657552012098301953 |

As Laurence Fox put it:
But there is a sense that the gap in trust between the peasants and the political class has widened significantly. Yes, and to the point that sceptics like me don't believe a word any of them say. Quite indeed. The entire foundation of free thinking is based on flat out rejection of whatever T-H-E-Y say without the hint of an actual critical thought anywhere in sight. |

That's pretty ugly stuff CL. The sort of thing you would see in some sci-fi horror film.

That's pretty ugly stuff CL. The sort of thing you would see in some sci-fi horror film. Ugly is just one of the words I would use to describe it TH Intimidation, harrassment , bullying pretty sure there are laws against that type of thing |

Meanwhile , in other news , people are getting on with their lives.

Can't be long now before the lock me down harder please sir fetishists are out asking for their granny to be tested before coming round for Christmas dinner then complaining about where all the testing money went.
|
By:
Are they running out of money
|
By:
Just had a positive test, can hardly stand and uncontrollable shivering. Got a flight a couple of days ago.
Nasty thing and while true getting on with your lives,i won't wish it on anyone. |
By:
Proving the sheeple are still testing themselves when they have a common cold, after all the lies and cons over the last few years....
The gullibility of mankind will never cease to amaze... Sigh..... |
By:
Testing when you have flu or a cold.
Mind boggling... |
By:
Worryingly, these are the wet wipes that will be demanding the return of masks and lockdowns, when they hit us with the next scamdemic.
The village idiots we all have to be warey of. |
By:
The suppression of early treatment of covid needs to be understood. Why was it done?
When the reason becomes clear, we start to see the whole rotten medical industry in its true light. |
By:
I was ill with some recurring flu or whatever before Christmas. I was in bed and wouldn't have been able to open my lappy and tell people how poorly I was. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, who would.
|

Lapsy
You are showing off your wealth and hence making the insecure male dropouts jealous. How dare you spend £1 on a simple non intrusive test. How gullible are you. How can you justify spending such a vast sum of money. Clearly you must be a village idiot for spending so much money just to provide you with information. Obviously those males who dropped out of school with few qualifications & are petrified to leave their parents house & walk down the street without a tin foil hat are the intelligent members of society. |
By:
Sorry to hear that lapsy . This remains a dangerous illness and people are still dying We have a certain immunity to flu
built up over many decades - we don’t have for covid . I know of a few recent cases , a friend in her late 50s ( possibly due to being in a crowded cinema ) and her family and friends also - a friend of hers very seriously ill - one death |
By:
Lapsy and Saddo, you have my sympathy. I still have some mysterious illness (which I have had for 10 weeks now). Just going by the symptoms you would put it down to Covid/Long Covid, but I took one lateral flow test after 2 weeks and that was negative. (It was the first and only time I took one of those tests) At the time of the onset of the illness there was a problem with the local water supply being badly discoloured and the chlorine levels being almost none existent (from Severn Trent water's own test in my home). However, tests found I did not have any bacterial infection(e-coli salmonella etc.).
So I think the most likely explanation, after all this time, is that I have had Covid and, somehow, the lateral flow test did not pick it up. I am better than I was, but I still have some dizzyness and extreme tiredness after moving around. |

Covid is still responsible for a few thousand deaths a year.
Even based on death certificates it is responsible for more deaths that RTAs. We take all sorts of precautions to limit traffic deaths, people can go to prison for breaking the law regarding driving, we spend thousands on safety devices on cars. Yet the male school dropouts mock those with Covid for taking a £1 test or heaven forbid choosing to ware a face covering. Meanwhile the vast majority of the U.K. (both vaccinated and unvaccinated) are just getting on with their lives. It is just a small group of “TRUTH SEEKERS” who are petrified of everything & unable to get on with life. |
