He has an opportunity to set out his stall but just waffles to use up time and avoid questions
Really pathetic and let’s be clear here Starmer says nothing about how he plans to make society fairer and give our children a future.
I predict a riot!

The PM’s reading was from Matthew, chapter 25, which includes the passage: “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

NHS staff, royals and politicians from across the spectrum hailed the NHS at a Westminster Abbey ceremony to mark the health service’s 75th birthday today.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Labour leader Keir Starmer gave Bible readings at the service - with the passages raising some eyebrows

The car lobby is loud but as local elections have shown opposition to LTNs is limited.
As for the ULEZ, it will be operational in 30 days and completely forgotten about by the next GE

Needs to sort out junior doctors before the winter, otherwise it all falls apart.
All pledges look utterly doomed.
Can't blame the Germans, the Irish or the jews.

What the Tories do badly, Labour can do even worse. Which is why the Tories usually get elected during troubled times.
I can't see Labour having an answer to anything. Especially without the golden legacy they had last time they replaced the Tories.

Be interesting to hear what Labour's actual policies are ? Do they have any ?
NHS / Social Care / Economy / Energy / Small boats etc etc ? - Does anybody know ? Do they even know themselves ?
It's all well and good screaming from the touchline for years - then somebody throws you the ball !
It's going to be fun - huge national debt - taxation already at all time high...Quite looking forward to it in a strange sort of way. Getting stuck into my leftie mates in the pub when the mess just rolls on...

Wages need to rise to close the gap in spending power lost. Raising bank rates will only further increase inflation until their effect drops out after 12 months.
Inflation is rate of change, when inflation is zero the prices are still higher and wages need to rise to catch up.
It really shouldn't be that difficult to follow

Yes that’s true .. but I’ve cut back on spending and would like a 7% pay rise - perhaps 8 or 9% Well done Brexit the money is being redistributed .. to the workers

The working classes are going to have to understand ( and we saw a realisation of this in the red wall and Brexit vote especially .. it is not the upper classes who are your enemy in this country … it is the Labour voting middle , lower middle classes

That’s completely untrue & he knows it! Public sector debt is actually rising in cash terms, real terms & most importantly as a per cent of national income. In fact this Government has given us the highest debt in 60 years!!!
How is he getting away with this? If he said this in Parliament there would be cries for him to correct the record!

pecker, surely you can admit that your posting of Aug 24 was wrong?
Your last two posts are like somebody who has lost the toss of a coin and then says "best of three", "best of five". Surely better to admit the mistake than flail around trying to hide it?
I am seriously not having a go, I just believe that admitting errors is better than obfuscation. Which would debar me from being a politician!

Inflation has fallen in usa, takes pressure off dollar, and therefore off pound, so interest rates projected lower.
Our inflation falling confirms projections.
Got to be good that we are in same part of cycle as usa now.

This is inflation number is down purely to the energy price cap.
Services inflation remains as does wage unflation.
Rishi, has no hand in reducing inflation, he is just bull****.

Yes usa growth is way better than ours but that's different cycle, for now.
We are almost in a semi permanent reset before we can get some growth going...
... Green revolution?
