Longest life expectancy record clearly belongs to American actors/ actresses (as long as they stay off the white stuff). Check "Actors living or dead". Maybe that's the longevity secret: don't be yourself- be someone else.

Seriously distasteful and disgraceful thread, you'd have to of a certain ilk to have even thought up a thread like this, is this how your mother raised you? to have a sweepstake on the on chances of good honest folk dying, those who've dedicated their life to their profession and given an immense amount of joy and entertainment to fans across the world in their millions......give your head a wobble FFS

One reason why actors tend to live so long is their need to look good. Which means keeping in shape with no overeating and taking adequate exercise.
They must get used to people admiring their good looks, so even as they're ageing they still try to look as good as possible.

Not like plebs who mostly accept the ill health which comes with their older age as normal. When in most cases it’s because of over eating and lack of exercise over many years.

Bob Dylan 81 and still active smoked cannabis and no doubt used other substances.
As Crippen says he has kept fit and active, other hobbies as well. long may he continue.

Clint Eastwood is 92.

Dr C. I suspect that ex actors are mostly filthy rich so have immediate access to the best medical attention. What's more, their physicians have a vested interest in keeping them alive. No need for them to go into nursing homes, such care comes to them.

Trump isn't looking healthy.
Tom Jones was old before I was born, but he could go frages yet.
Sir Mick is a keep fit addict, isn't he? But the Stones will be joining the Beatles in due course.
Sir Cliff looks ancient.

Ken Clarke is as old as Tom Jones and I don't think he looks after himself much. Maybe he taps his foot when listening to jazz,
but he doesn't do much exercise, I'd say.

Frages = for ages in Treforest/Pontypridd where Tom Jones is from.

Everyone woman of a certain age claims to have been one of his conquests.

I assumed most people on this forum were already 90+. What other excuse could they have?

Has Clint Eastwood every been photographed carrying a pot belly Foinavon?

''Eastwood has been a health and fitness fanatic since he was a teenager.''
Wiki.

I don't know about having the best doctors in the world, but they certainly get the best advice. Yet there's no secret about how to stay healthy.
If people are abusing their bodies, they can do more than any doctor can do for them by simply changing their lifestyles.

It's up to the individual to make the change.

I agree that people should look after themselves, it's common sense and Eastwood appears to have followed good advice. People in the middle ages generally ate frugally and were physically fit through hard work yet as the saying goes, life was nasty, brutal and short for most of them. There is more to staying alive than diet and exercise, important though they are.

Stents... Keep those arteries clear. I'm betting the Rolling Stones are basically held together by stents.

Jagger's had a repair to a heart valve, but I don't think he had any stents.

He's another who looks after himself.

He looked a typical overweight American when he was in the news. There are always people like him that buck the odds, but not many.

as a rallying fan was impressed how well he turned his talents to that and obviously a risk taker in life but still brutal.
