EXCL: @ITVNews has obtained pictures of Boris Johnson drinking at a No10 party during lockdown in November 2020.

The photos cast fresh doubt on the PM's repeated claims he was unaware of rule-breaking in No10 during the pandemic.

Restrictions on gatherings

Part 3 of the Regulations contains the new restrictions on gatherings.

Restrictions on indoor and outdoor gatherings

Indoor gatherings of two or more people are prohibited, unless an exception applies.

Outdoor gatherings (including in a private garden) of two or more people are prohibited, unless an exception applies. However, not more than two people can gather in a public outdoor space, such as a park or the countryside.

Not more than one carer for a person with a disability who needs continuous care and (any number of) children under five do not count when calculating how many people are gathering outdoors.

Restrictions on organising gatherings of more than 30 people

Organising or facilitating a gathering of more than 30 people taking place in private dwellings, on vessels or in a public outdoor place are prohibited. Gatherings in public outdoor places which are operated by a business or a charitable or philanthropic institution or a public body, are permitted. Gatherings organised by a business, a charitable or philanthropic institution, a public body or a political body are permitted if required precautions have been taken.

Organising or facilitating indoor rave-type gatherings of more than 30 people is not permitted.

Exceptions to the restrictions on gatherings
The exceptions to the restrictions on both indoor and outdoor gatherings and to organising gatherings of more than 30 people include:
Same or linked households. The restrictions do not apply where all the people gathering are in the same household or are members of two linked households.
Gatherings necessary for certain purposes. The restrictions do not apply to gatherings reasonably necessary for work..............,

Big problem for Johnson imo. I think the pictures show him breaking the rules (no problem if you're diametrically opposed to my opinion on that). Parliament goes into recess later this week, all his MP's now have to go back to their constituencies to face their constituents & put a positive spin on it - and not all of them will see it as a work event.

Starmer and Boris both appear to be of the opinion that Covid was dangerous for more than six people meeting outside but safe for over a dozen to meet up indoors for a drinking session just because they claim it was 'reasonably necessary for work'.

The virus cannot tell if people are working. If masks and social distancing and number limits are needed for socialising they should also be needed for work.

Starmer and Boris broke the spirit of the 'all in it together' social contract by using these 'reasonably necessary for work' loopholes for their drinking sessions.

Next time they try and lock us down remember their actions not their legal speak words.

Their actions demonstrate that they did not fear the virus they tried to make us terrified of.

So far for all these photos there has been 1 fine for Boris. 1 fine for Sunak. This latest picture did not even get a fine! Starmer may not even get a fine. Rayner may not even get a fine. Foy may not even get a fine. We can all see the pictures and make up our minds.

I have made up mine. The people that voted through the laws on us stretched them to the limits themselves claiming it was 'work'.

It is shameful by the lot of them to all claim 'no rules were broken' and 'there was no party' etc.
