Nusrat Ghani: PM orders Cabinet Office to investigate 'Muslimness' claim

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has ordered a Cabinet Office inquiry into claims made by a Muslim MP who says her faith was given as a reason for her sacking as a minister in 2020.

Nusrat Ghani said a government whip said her "Muslimness was raised as an issue", according to the Sunday Times.

The Conservative MP welcomed the inquiry, saying all she wanted was for the matter to be taken seriously.

Conservative Chief Whip Mark Spencer says the claims are completely false.

He has said Ms Ghani was referring to him and that he considered her allegations to be defamatory.

But it is all tory governments' fault. It really is that simple. The truth they don't want to advertise is that immigration - from a tax v expenditure point of view - is an absolute boon for this country. Lots of working age people coming in. No money spent on educating them. All working age so very little strain on the NHS. It's basically just tax money in with very little going out.


The "population growth is out of control" is an utter red herring to throw to the racists. If population is growing, it's by far due to people living longer and that's the extra NHS strain too.

That is done by old people ( who were young )working and paying taxes over a lifetime
When you bring people into the country  , young or old who by definition have t paid

When these younger immigrants come to Britain and they bring their kids or have kids, here who pays for the cost?  its between £2000/6000 for a normal birth £7000 plus for a C section, but if there are any difficulties then in will 10s of thousands, then there is the cost of schooling about £6000 per child per year. Then there is healthcare, cancer it is claimed 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their life time, the cost to the NHS is 10s of thousands of ponds per person. Then there is cost of a immigrant in prison, the cost of housing  etc. Most of these people if they work at all will be on low wages its a money pit and an avoidable drain on the countries finances
