These figures do look very low and probably much lower than most would have thought.  However, it might be more meaningful if we could see the numbers for deaths where Covid is not necessarily the sole cause on the certificate, but still the primary reason.

These figures came out early last week.  No mention on BBC or ITV.

I saw the numbers, and was more than surprised at the gender imbalance which was hugely swayed towards male deaths.
Has this been mentioned constantly on the news over the last couple of years? We'd not hear the end of it if it was reversed.

The 'vulnerable' could have had their jibjabs and the rest of us could have been left alone in much the same way as the NHS have given Influenza jabs to the clinically vulnerable.

Yet you have the Chinese culling hamsters and locking down whole areas for the sake of 3 instances of Covid very recently.

Only 8 deaths for people 24 and under. Be very interesting to get a FOI to see how many under 24s have died within 28 days of getting the jab or had serious reactions.

Answer: there is no consistent methodology for a doctor to fill in the death cert.
and the likely answers from 100 doctors  would vary from single causes such as covid, heart failure, to a whole list of contributory causes.


Personally, I think the quest for the data to be more reality based than it currently is,
is an honourable pursuit, and I wish you success in finding it.

But to base it on death certificate which is solely at the doctors own discretion is sadly
as misjudged as the way the data is currently assembled.

18k were aged 90 or over
