The continuing London Teenage Homicide catastrophe should be an open goal for ANY Labour Home Secretary (or even Party Leader), but inexplicably each successive post-holder seems unwilling to take the subject seriously.
Diane Abbott, for example, was Shadow Home Secretary between 2016 and 2020. Why didn't she insist on a root and branch Home Office investigation into he ongoing London Teen Homicide and knife/gun crime epidemic? An investigation which would identify the perpetrators, the victims, identify clear and obvious patterns then insist that ruthless action is taken to reduce the levels of such crime. Why on earth did Diane Abbott, Shadow Home Secretary and London MP, fail her community so lamentably to carry out this routine action? |
