You've clearly no knowledge about what you have to do to get JSA, Job Seeker Allowance.

When you sign on you have to make a jobseekers agreement with the Jobcentre. This details the work you are able to do in the areas you can reasonably get to and the steps you are going to take to find employment.

Then you  get sent vacancies which you must follow up or you will be sanctioned, left penniless.

Try not looking at your JobCentre account for a few days and you get sanctioned, left penniless.

You can't turn up at job interviews and deliberately fail or guess what - you get sanctioned, left penniless.

I do hope you are better informed on the other subjects you pontificate on.

All these vacancies are great news for British workers. Another Brexit bonus!

Do the job centres really send
job vacancies to job seekers?

Seems most of their time is used
up checking folk are applying for
vacancies.

Difficult enough to get them to send
folk on basic computer courses so they
can actually apply for some of these jobs.

Not having a mobile phone nor an email
address seems to render folk unemployable.

Libraries having being closed made it
difficult too, for some folk.

If there are shortages of labour in certain sectors then the pay will have to rise
And of course elsewhere - maybe civil service , city of London etc
Pay can be cut  , that’s fine

but lots of my mates/lads i no wont work for less than £20 its their cut off , its a figure more than a rate because they,ll go on nights for £20 which i count nights rate as time and a 3rd, so really in my eyes their only working for £15 an hr basic, but offer them 15 for days and they have a meltdown

That is about normal, when I went for mine there was two of us and we got two weeks training. Passing the test is just the start like it is when you pass your car test, the next couple of years is when you master the art of driving but unlike the car when it comes to an HGV someone needs to give you the chance to learn.
