If you couldn't make that up.... you should probably be in a care homeLaugh

Is this it?

''The owner of the Caledonia home at Holyhead, Anglesey, where 11 of the 12 residents have coronavirus, said it only “survived” the weekend because two employees who had also tested positive for Covid agreed to work the night shift.

With so many workers off ill or self-isolating, there would have been no night staff otherwise, and only three day staff, no cleaners and only one cook.''

If the carers hadn't got covid when they clocked on, with 11 out of the 12 infected they'd most likely have covid when they clocked off.

I do wonder why are people lying about covid so much. Are they bored, or just putting off the time when they admit to being mugged for so long?

It is a sad story, seems care homes still getting hammered(worldwide) and the most vulnerable making up the worst statistics, don't seem to be any solution to it either.
Report saddo September 12, 2021 1:37 PM BST
Sad yes, but it would be far more serious if it wasn't the most vulnerable being lost. Most of us are lucky enough to be lightly touched by it if infected, but still many are behaving like it's as lethal as the black death. It isn't.
I'm willing to accept there is no solution -as yet- it's a virus.

Ha Shiny no sale.

I agree Saddo, a year and a half in and you have to live, it can't be beat but the reprocussions of a long drawn out covid in the community is a downward spiral too. Pfizer are developing a pill which seems to have good results in treating thosethat need hospitalisation and maybe a better vaccine or other medical advancements are needed to rid but until then it will be a slow death for the economy.
