Need to get more virus in then say the government.

Solution - open up the borders to those who have received a double does of the vaccine which doesn't stop you getting it or spreading it and conveniently produces new "variants".

But it's all the fault of the unvaccinated CrazyCrazyCrazyCrazyCrazy

Looks likely, because it's been going for eighteen months.

But why should they be right this time?

It's like the stock market guru who keeps predicting a crash. One day he's correct.

Yes - unlike a stock market genius like George Soros who always ends up on the right end of the market movement - now why could that be? ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

Looking at the charts since last February, including numbers of deaths and numbers of infections.

After putting in the lockdown dates. It's difficult to make a case that the lockdowns did a lot.

Of course if we've not mixing then we can't spread it.

The trouble is, during lockdowns there was still plenty of mixing going on, and half the infections were picked up at hospitals.

Lockdowns have made us poor, and guess who taught us how to lockdown - the Chinese bless them.

And guess who gave us the virus too?

Dr Matthews..

The virologist said the UK government should have given greater thought about what could be done "to protect ourselves both as individuals and as a country" - and expressed dismay that "people were treating it as a new strain of flu" in the early days.

When asked whether travel bans and quarantine measures should have been imposed earlier, Dr Matthews added: "I think we should have probably been much more aggressive."

He explained that the UK should have looked at containment control measures "a lot harder and a lot more carefully".

"It'll be a nice to have a smorgasbord of effective vaccines to choose from and to make sure that we get maximum benefit from a vaccine programme," Dr Matthews said.

"Hopefully by Easter we'll have a wide range of vaccines to choose from and a deeper understanding of what's the most effective way to squeeze these vaccines to their maximum potential."

Dr David Matthews was part of the only UK team working on human coronaviruses when COVID-19 first surfaced in China.

The academic told Sky News' Sarah Hewson: "What we were doing was certainly not a secret. Most people knew that we were working on coronavirus at that time."

Dr Matthews claimed that, had his advice been sought, he would have encouraged Health Secretary Matt Hancock to prepare the UK "with much more aggression" - and he claimed the government's initial communication around COVID-19 didn't reflect the challenges ahead.

The more we close the gap on the last 10% who haven’t had the vaccine the better we will be. Everyone will eventually meet the virus and it is far better to do so vaccinated

ive had the virus and was asymptomatic - so why is it better for me and 33% of other people who are asymptomatic to be vaccinated

please provide the link - lets follow the science

Asymptomatic = Infection but showing no symptoms.
That's handy when you want to massage the figures
Add in the inaccuracy of these tests then you've got a collection of data worthy of @rse paper

You don't know if you are in the
lucky 33% until after you had it.

Some won't even know afterwards
if they aint tested.

Maybe you have different info?

If it's 67% better off vaxxed..
33% no benefit from vaxx but
get covid, take a chance

What do you recoment to fellow punters
as being the shrewd thing to
gamble your health on..

When: 29 Jul 21 11:47
yes the lateral flow tests are so unreliable

i though the vaccination programme was to protect the most vulnerable and prevent hospital admissions
its turned into a cult
its absolved the british people of asking the question of why the nation as a whole is so unfit and why the £100m's spent previously by Government on public health has been so ineffective
By:

if i was a healthy 18 year old i wouldnt get the vaccine
if i was an 18 year old with respiratory problems I would

but its personal choice based on risk - people need to take responsibility for their own health
By:
----you-have-to-laugh---
When: 29 Jul 21 11:57
If the odds are 67 it helps
33 it does not, what is your
advice,

Obviously 18 year olds have
a much more difficult decision
as its likely 67-33 the other
way, or even less neccesary
for themselves.

It's about helping parents, grandparents
friends, communities

Tough choice, but had 18 months
to help decide.

"Vaccines prevented 22 million infections and 60,000 deaths"

They just pluck s*it stats from their backsides don't they

22 million? so how come we've got rising "infections" again then?

How can it be at 87% herd immunity?

How can we have 30k plus "positives" every day

If the vaccines prevented all that?.... can someone please talk some fecking sense ?

Are these people for real?

Can any of them go a day without contradicting their previous statements?

Can't they just keep their BS to a minimum and at least try to lie in a coherent manner?
