Has Willie Rennie resigned yet? He actively encouraged LibDem supporters to use their vote to support unionist parties in constituencies, who then mostly voted for that same unionist party in the regional list, thus ensuring that no LibDem regional list MSPs were returned to Holyrood. Now, as they only have four MSPs, one below the minimum, they are not recognised as a parliamentary group and have lost the right to be represented on committees or allowed questions to the First Minister at questions. His position is untenable.

They have had some excellent MPs and MSPs over the years and in those island communities the personality and approachability, combined with strong local knowledge is a strong reason to continually support them over the years. If they indyref2 today the result would be a coin toss...however as times goes by and the true effects of brexit kick in and the current govt envelopes itself further in a sea of lies cronyism and corruption then I think you will find the desire for independence in Scotland will snowball hugely..time will tell.

The Western Isles were LibDems once if IRC so I suppose it is only a matter of time before Shetland joins the inexorable movement that will deliver freedom for Scotland.

When I unfurled my two-foot-long, peach-coloured list ballot paper on Thursday, my eye was drawn to a logo of a leaf with ‘Green’ in capital letters. This was the ‘Independent Green Voice’. Surely if a blatant fraud had been committed by person/persons known/unknown, the police would have dealt with this long before now?

If this crowdfunded donation went directly to the SNP and not some third party organisation, I am not sure of the strength of this complaint. If I donate 100K to the Conservative Party, asking for it to be used for a certain purpose, would it be fraud if it was used by the party but not every single accountable penny was used for the purpose I specified?
