More of a PM man myself, never got involved with Bitcoin.

Does anyone hold and what are your thoughts on where this will go?

They tried to licence the coins,
Feds stopped this.
It's common knowledge
What bubble u been in ?????
Report shiny new shoes please January 3, 2021 2:31 PM GMT
By licencing it became unlawful . A threat to fiat.
Blockchain is only going to have more applications added.
PayPal is going to sell btc.
Use it.

Report politicspunter January 3, 2021 2:33 PM GMT
Far too volatile to be a serious long term investment.
Report GAZO January 3, 2021 2:34 PM GMT

Report shiny new shoes please January 3, 2021 2:37 PM GMT

Yes it's volatile .
It's was a punt for me that's payed off

Report shiny new shoes please January 3, 2021 2:41 PM GMT

Report shiny new shoes please January 3, 2021 2:47 PM GMT
That's the cash value so far.
Limited number of codes produced.
Report GAZO January 3, 2021 2:48 PM GMT
i thought bitcoin would be popular because it was so safe and secure but you keep going on about hacking,so i assume thats wrong
Report GAZO January 3, 2021 2:49 PM GMT
so all the bitcoins (however many there are ) are now worth 578 billion and there will be no more and thats why they are going up ?
Report shiny new shoes please January 3, 2021 2:49 PM GMT
Google.mt.gox. Ouch...
Codes only safe if secure.
Sites holding codes attacked.
Report shiny new shoes please January 3, 2021 2:51 PM GMT

Price must increase .
As more computing power is required.

does it create space for more so increase price or the opposite,

This is not actually true though is it?

There was such a humungous serious hack about 4-5 years ago that they 'forked' and magically produced another
21 million (called Bitcoin cash) out of nowhere.

I wish you the best shiny, and pleased you have made money, but don't lose sight that bitcoin is not really the

Now that the Bitcoin Options market has opened, making it as easy, if not easier, to be able to
profit from a decline in price as a rise in price. Combined with Bitcoin being unregulated and
thus manipulation is not illegal.

This opens it up to all sorts of billion dollar plays, such as:

Buy 1 coin, sell a near price call option, use that money to buy lots of out of the money (OTM) puts.

If the price goes up, you profits are limited by the strike price of the call, if the price goes down
your profits start increasing at an exponential rate as your OTM puts become ITM.

And you can make the price fall drastically by fake (or real) news that undermines confidence, such as one or
more key people in the exchange infrastructure have been detained, hacked, caught in bed with a horse etc.

back in the 80's & 90's when synthetic financials were traded on California's power supply, some people
made millions merely by paying a couple of hundred in back handers to janitors to flick a switch at a pre arranged
time.
California was plagued with blackouts for years until the scam was stopped.

expect the same on bitcoin, times 1,000.
